| School Age Program |
Aspire Programs has a school age classroom (K-2) which follows New York
State curriculum. Currently, it is a tuition based program with related services.
In addition to the Language Arts, Spelling, Math, Science and Social Studies
curriculum the students participate in Social Skills training. The Social Skills
training includes, executive functioning, critical thinking and understanding
theory of the mind concepts.
The class also participates in outings and field trips. Prior to community
outings the students review social stories and role play expectations of
behavior in the community setting.
Behavioral management plans incorporate organizational skills where students
earn dollars to purchase items in the school store based on their organization
throughout the day.
